Hey all, trying to pin down some facts and figures...anyone know where I can get statistics on dimensions (weight, size, etc) for ordnance? I'm looking for things like the weight on a 120mm tank cannon.

A quick look at the Rheinmetall Gmbh site showed that the stats for the 120 are available on request, so just google Rheinmetall and email them for whatever you might want to know.

Honestly, I could look for the information, but I'm not sure about being allowed to give it out. Rebel Yell's method would be better and keep the military types from giving out something they may not be allowed to.

I know it sounds stupid, but there are limits on what soldiers are supposed to share about equipment specs. If it's commercally avalible, then it's usually not a problem.

You could always try Jane's too. www.janes.com

Talk about a moment. I've got a subsription to Jane's for my Intel guys and I totally forgot. Oops.

That is the best source for data on most any military hardware.

Good call Chrome.
