UTDF Intelligence Group
Priority: THREAT LEVEL ECHO
HIGH PRIORITY
from the Red Sentinel Sect-Blood Apaches
Statement of Derison against the CETFOR Coalition

This statement was broadcasted on all open channels and is directed towards the CETFOR Coalition Command which consists of the 1st Cohort of the 95th Legion and the UTDF which now acts as the 2nd Cohort. This statement was issued by Counselor David Castillo of the Red Sentinels sect of the Blood Apaches. This sect is an oddity among the Blood Apaches, for they serve the Koda Works Industrial Society which employs several million N’dee workers under the UCOR citizenship.
Translated from the Spanish language.

For the lives of our people! For the blood of our loved ones fallen in the ever-present struggle against the tyranny and oppression of our people. Blood for Blood. We are borne, N’dee; the voice of the people, liberators of the people and protectors of the people.

We have remained silent long enough; It was the wisdom of our counsel that we waited before making a determination of our allegiances; to observe the actions of our peers and measure them against the benefit of our people. What we find now is troubling, for now it is clear that the United Tribal Arbors have chosen to align themselves to the Earth and possibly jeopardize our relations with the Rach Empire.

We have operated successfully under the IMO since it was introduced in 2269; however the alliance with Cetus only presents a situation in where the policy can be misused against us and suffer our economy. This will not be tolerated and as such, we have begun operations to defend our interests against the encroachment into our livelihood.

We warn you Prime Minister Calderon, we warn you Prefect Wheatley; you will both suffer the wrath of the Red Sentinels. The storm is stirred, our soldiers are ready and your days are numbered. Our forces are moving to reinforce the beleaguered Black-Stone Raiders after their defeat on Cetus 4, and to decimate your forces in route to the Suhail System.

Grand Counselor Jose Soliz, you are also warned; should you interfere with our operations, your death will come swiftly. Your forces are weak and will soon break to the UTDF; it was wise of you to leave Awenasa, for soon the NFA will be nothing more than a faded memory. To think, the Apachero were once the vanguard of the mightiest N’dee army to rise against the bureaucracy; a defiant flame now extinguished by the corporate criminal darkness and its puppet regime, the UTA.

Although our fight is not with the AEC or Ritterlich, should they interfere, they will learn first hand the fury of the Blood Apache. Unlike the Coyotero, we will bring the fight directly to their doorsteps! We will slaughter your families before you; we will kill your leaders and destroy your institutions from within. There will be no Avalorr left to call home. DO NOT TEST US!

Lastly, to the followers of Counselor Remi Santiago, although we will assist the Black-Stone Raiders against the 95th Legion. Do not allow your venom to interfere with our path. We do as we do, nothing more! Our goal is to destroy this coalition by any and all means; your war with the AEC is your matter.

Several explosions destroyed the construction site for what was to be, the CETFOR-IGS 160 command center; the ZDF Global defense forces were heavily engaged by unknown elements fielding a high quantity of Koda Work’s equipment. Prime Minister Juan Calderon has formally contacted the Rach Empire, demanding an explanation towards this unprovoked attack.

A sizable fleet has been rumored to be in route towards Cetus 4, no doubt to back the beleaguered Black-Stone Raiders against the 95th Legion. The UTDF has elevated the current threat level to Echo, in response to what may become the 2nd Galaxy War should the Rach Empire become involved.

Incoming report

Bantu City has become the site of fierce infighting between Zulu Defense Forces and the Red Sentinels sect of the Blood Apaches. These attacks come unexpectedly, as a large contingent of Zulu forces are currently in South Athabasca.

Counselor David Castillo was reported to be offworld, possibly in route to Cetus 4 where many Red Sentinels are reported to be reinforcing the Black Stone Raiders who faced a staggering defeat of their space naval assets.

Black Stone Raider CAV elements are said to be still operating on Cetus 4 in an effort to delay the 95th Legion until the Red Sentinels arrive; but several concentrations of Red Sentinel ships were challenged by a UTDF patrol fleet before they had the chance to leave the system.

In the battle, several UTDF cruisers were lost to kamikaze attacks and waves of EMP torpedoes hampered the power systems of the patrol group, leaving them helpless to the waves of space configured Kharl fighter craft.

Intelligence estimates the Red Sentinels were able to escape with at least a full battery of thier rapid deployment forces. the remaining forces are operating on Awenasa against the UTDF ground forces.

David Castillo looked at the vid screen in shock. The Disciples have taken this fight to an extreme even he wouldn't go. Counselor Soliz had declared Blood Law on Remi Santiago and her disciples.

However he was in no position to change his course now; The Red Sentinels were pounding hard for Cetus 4 and although the Black Stone Raiders may shift their alliance to Soliz, Counselor Castillo was intent to take his fight against CETFOR; even if he had to go at it alone.

Most of the Blood Apaches were taking up sides for a slaughter that would make the most callous of mercs twinge. Blood Law was a terrible revenge, for it meant not only the death of the Blood Apache's enemies, but also their families as well.

Class Members killed in Battle

6 Mecha cadet crewmen were killed in a battle on the Ft Wolf training grounds; The graduating class of Sep 72 will be sorely missed as most of the graduating class were killed by a troop section of Blood Apache CAVs, possibly Red Sentinels or vengeful Black Mustangs.

The attack was swift, and came during a training exercise in where the cadets, piloting modified Koda Works Dictators were testing their mettle against the instructor in her KDM Rhino. At first all seemed well until TACOPS reported the northeast turret control center was heavily engaged by the Blood Apache troop section.

The training exercise was halted, and the Dictators keyed to go live as it came to the class's understanding, it was on them to defend the training center until reinforcements were available. A second instructor's Rhino, joined in to provide assistance and the class braced for an attack.

Within moments 2 Mark IV Wights came screaming through the pass followed closely by a KDM Rhino and the troop section's Borsig Spline Ogre "Necro". The class fought valiantly, suddenly learning the harsh realities of war when they confronted the Blood Apaches.

But after the first few moments of the engagement, both Wight's were destroyed each taking a Dictator and crew in return fire before going down. The remaining dictator crewman were horrified when trying to engage the Ogre, while the instructors teamed up on the Blood Apache Rhino.

By the time the enemy Rhino was destroyed, the Ogre had already slaughtered one Dictator and its crew, and badly crippled the last Dictator. The last Dictator crew barely escaped before the instructors were able to concentrate fire on the Ogre.

Both Rhinos were significantly damaged, however they did destroy the remaining Ogre "Necro"; yet the Ogre crew fought viciously to the bitter end, electing to stay and fight to the death rather than escape.

Families of the fallen have been contacted and medals will be given to the brave class of the Sep 72 UTDF War College. While by all accounts the Second N'dee War is officially declared a victory for the UTDF, there are still radical hold outs which still present a danger to peacekeeping operations.

These radical hold outs will constantly probe and seek possible targets of opportunity; these fanatics are likely to continue waging thier fight against the UTDF even in the face of likely death. This brutal attack on a class of CAV crewman, surely signifies this.

Jeran Thorn was steaming. "Those were Frogs of War transponders coming from those attacking CAVs! They were firing on us!"

The defense of the prison installation was swift and relativrly simple. The attacking forces had no answer for the speed of the defenders. The Talon, with Thorn at the controls, acquited itself well, destroying a badger, three infantry units, and assisting on a Fenri. The Ogre, and Jon Avery, had the misfortune of being deployed on the opposite side of the encampment, and did little to help out. The Puma, piloted today by Nguyen, destroyed several soft targets, and triggered an explosive device onboard a Fenri.

The only thing left on the Night Wolves agenda was to retrieve Teresea, and find out why their former allies had attacked. Things were not going to get easier.

"Jon, we are going to get Teresea back, and soon." Jeran looked at his long time friend. "Let us see what the Blood Apaches want from us."

"Whatever they need, it is theirs. Let's bring her home." Avery had the look of someone capable of anything, and that might be just what they needed.

"I am the Packmaster. You will heel to me or die!!!"

Teresea turned to face Chief Bermudez, who was supervising his men loading some provisions aboard the shuttle. She was still a little distraught from the assassination of Counselor Miguel Cordona; still shaking from time to time remembering the surprised look on his face.

She now learned, taking another beings life is much different face to face with that person than to be inside a cockpit of a 90 ton machine. The Blood Apaches were an intriguing bunch, best left to the shadows of speculation, but she learned a lot from her time with them.

Jared Bermudez worked up the nerve to approach her; in his hand was a medallion, a ring of a burning sun, with three feathers extruding from the right.

“This is something that is special to all Blood Apaches, the sacred fire of the N’dee. Each flame represents a sect of our people, and the ring binds us together as one fire, one nation, one destiny, one people.” He humbly closed her hand around the gift, and held it to his heart. “This one has been in the Bermudez family for three generations”

She was just about to decline but Chief Bermudez insisted
“Take it. I may not return from where we’re about to go, and most of my family was at White Plains before the bomb.” She understood.

“Take the shuttle on our projected coordinates, then execute the rescue beacon at approximately 0:200 hours. There will be a freighter called the Odin’s Hammer, which usually travels this shipping lane; It departed Avalorr earlier last night” Jared continued

“The shuttle is registered to a local breaker group centered in Kiatos Prime, and was reported missing about a week and a half ago; when you hit the transit station, you can disappear and make your way back to your unit. There is plenty of supplies and some money to get you by.”

Teresea examined the busy hanger, where dozens of Coyotero technicians labored diligently to prepare their Kikyu-Oni star-fighters for the battle with Santiago that lay ahead. The Lugones had been under silent running protocols to evade the bulk of the cold fleet; Most Coyotero warships had already withdrawn from AEC territory quietly pressing towards the destination of the Blood Apache home worlds, Grand Counselor Soliz talked about.

Finally, Teresea let out a deep breath and proceeded into the shuttle. Chief Bermudez tipped his head foreword to acknowledge her.

“Vaya con Dios, Night Wolf.”

Kaitos Daily Mentioner
Morning edition, Kaitos Prime

Allied forces stationed on the Delta Prime moon yesterday repulsed an attack bent on freeing the captured Rach terrorist leader known as Khan. Though the defenders took minimal casualties, the Mentioner has learned that Frogs of War forces took part in the attack. The Frogarum spokesman Nietchze von Ribbit would neither confirm nor deny these rumors, saying only that investigations are under way.

Meanwhile, many of von Ribbit's supporters are calling for his resignation. Egg party leader Jamison Green, had this to say: "He bungled the Avalorr listening post, and now his ineffective leadership cannot even guard a captured terrorist! Now our own people are joining the cause of terror. Clearly, he is no longer fit to lead our military, and must be replaced."

Top administration officials had no comment, but a measure was quietly passed through the Frogarum this morning, significantly relaxing the standards for performing wiretaps and searches of corporate and government headquarters. According to a recent poll, the population, particularly those in areas affected by recent Ghost Lemur activity, are by and large supportive of these new measures.

Heightened Security

Increased security marked the UTDF training grounds while the next class began it's combat trials. One cadet is Section Specialist Micheal Carr, brother of Col. Nathan Carr, Commander of the 1st Falcon Defenders. Highly favored for his tactical proficiency, he scored very well throughout most of the class excerises.

Specialist Carr performed admirably though losing in the second round of trials against another cadet Section Specialist Jonathan Madden. Specialist Madden was a potential draft pick for the Dorado Aztecs during his days playing college football at the UTDF War College, but decided to enlist with the IMO courses as a CAV pilot.

With the Second N'dee War both classmates decided to join the IMO courses in defense of the UTDF, however the war was officially declared over before both young men could test their mettle. We at the UTDF War College congradulate our brave men and women answering the call to arms.

In other News......

according to rumors, It is believed that the AWOL Wild Apaches have already confronted the Blood Apache Disciples in a fierce space battle. Details are sketchy, but it is speculated that War Cheif Sabion Reyes of the Wild Apaches and Commander Jack Burton of the Lucky 8's are deploying troops on the secret home world of Cassini even as we speak.

Intercept bounced signal
Point of origin: unknown
Decrypted report
Translated from the Spanish language

Santiago: War Chief! Are you saying the orbital defense grid is down on the Saguaro Peninsula? It’s Soliz! It’s him; he’s already begun landing troops.

Gutierrez: Santiago, from what I can see it’s only the Apachero on Cassini. There’s not many, we can hold them, but Jack Burton is with them.

Santiago: My initiates have failed me! Give Capt Ryger an ultimatum, either kill Jack or I shall kill him and his family. I will send Pacheco and Lourdes to assist.

Gutierrez: I have the 2nd and 3rd Division on stand by; we’ll crush these rebels like the dirt they are. Counselor Cordona should have the NADO Cold fleet trapped away from Avalor, so we should strike now!

Santiago: Cordona is dead! Soliz got to him through Bermudez, the Coyotero are no longer with us! I will put a hit on that traitor soon enough, but do not underestimate the Apachero. Sabian Reyes is leading them.

Gutierrez: Reyes! But isn’t he with the UTDF? Are they coming too!

Santiago: No, Gutierrez, Reyes is acting on his own; the Wild Apaches went renegade and the last of the Apachero Army have joined him. We will crush them once and for all.

signal lost...

"Jon, we've located Teresea!!" Thorn exclaimed, "She was found on a stranded shuttle. We are bringing her home!"

"That's great. It will be good to have her home again" Avery replied.

"Our reports show that she seemed a little shaken up about her experience. She kept on saying that she didn't mean to do it, whatever that is supposed to mean." Jeran said. "She'll need our support if she is to pull through this."

"You know that I will do anything for her, she's my sister." Avery responded.

"I know. I also know your desire for vengeance, and that we don't need." Thorn was very firm in his statement. He couldn't afford to have Avery go off on his own agenda. There was much work together.

"I will go no where without the pack" Avery declared

"That is all I needed to hear" Thorn replied.

With that said, both men looked forward to the return of one of their own.

“Santiago wants you dead, dead Jack.” Jess Greyson said as she crossed the tent floor. She handed him a stack of paper. Jack eyed it distastefully and tossed it on the folding table in front of him.
“I don’t have time to read this crap, what does it say?” He studied the map in front of him distractedly. He could hear the yelling of techs and pilots as they began to get their machines ready for a campaign to beat anything the 8’s have been through before.
Lisa Donnen stood up and walked over to the table.
“Santiago has sworn to kill you. Apparently she doesn’t like betrayal.”
Jack nodded and smiled grimly.
“I knew she wouldn’t like the news, although how she found out so quick worries me.” He looked up at Jess Greyson. “Get a move on Jess, we’re moving out in 2 hours and everyone needs to be ready, this is going to be a long ride.” Jess glanced nervously over at Lisa. Lisa looked long at Jack.
“What is it?” He asked.
“She is sending Ryger after you Jack. She is serious about this.” Jack nodded. He knew who Ryger was and he had never liked the guy, never liked his methods.
“Well you know what that means then ladies? I want scouts out. If Ryger wants a fight he’s got one, except this time I am going to kill that bastard and if I can, drive straight to the heart of Santiago.” Jess nodded, a small smile on her face and she left the tent in a hurry. Lisa shook hers.
“Ryger is no one to screw around with Jack.” Jack smiled ferally.
“I know, I still owe him for the eye. Signal the Wild Apaches, let them know we are ready.”

"Well, it turns out that we got so popular with the media, everyone we managed to beat down in the field got to share in the fame as well, or I guess that would be noteriety?" - Commander Burton, Lucky Number 8 "Lucky 8's" when questioned baout the tag line "We'll make ya famous." attributed to the 8's.

Hasbani Farrel was a funny man; short somewhat pudgy with a balding head and neatly trimmed beard. His accent was unmistakably mideastern, perhaps from Saudi Arabia or Iran, but don’t tell him that. He would prefer if people would recognize outright him as Egyptian, but it would never happen and that would cause him to be upset.

Most mideastern men did not care much for gambling, but Hasbani was a bit of a rebal. His hot headedness always led him into shenanigans, most suitably when Jack Burton and his people would step through the door of his establishment. But things seemed strangely quiet being that he hadn’t seen a Lucky 8 for several weeks now.

The rat hole was empty, well, except for a few stragglers, most notably that sugary looking set of legs in a tight mini skirt shooting a round of billiards. She seemed to be the center of the universe at that point in time, but Hasbani was too distracted to care.

“Bugs! I hate bugs!” He turned to his henchman “Rashid, did you call the exterminator yet!”

“RASHID!”

“Uh yeah, boss! I called them yesterday.”

Rashid was a clumsy beast of a man; he had been Mr. Farrell’s muscle for about a year now, but for how many times Jack and his crew pulled the rug out from under him in a manner of speaking, Hasbani wondered why he kept him employed.

“Will you stop looking at that N’dee jezebel? You have a job to do!”

“Uh yeah, boss…..”

“Excuse me.” She interrupted.

Hasbani was temporarily at a loss for words. “Eh, no, excuse me miss, I hope you are enjoying our fine establishment?”

She smiled and looked scanned Hasbani Farrell from head to toe. “So you are the owner of this place, it’s really nice and you are such a handsome man, do you work out?”

Hasbani was flattered and immediately straightened his composure. “Why yes, you noticed?”

He tried not to distract himself with Rashid who was busy chuckling to himself. Is this girl drunk or what? He thought to himself. Hasbani discretely shooed Rashid away while the lady took up a stool beside him.

“Mr. Gantos, please, fix the young lady a martini on the house; my name is Hasbani Farrell, and your name is?”

“Anita.... Anita Lourdes” she extended her hand for a friendly handshake.

“So Anita, what brings you here to New Reno?”

“Oh, I work for a private security firm. I heard about the reward posted by the Ritterlich and AEC Governments for the capture of any Blood Apaches.”

Hasbani seemed stunned; Blood Apaches! Here? Well, he would certainly know if any Blood Apaches were in New Reno; I mean, come on! Nothing gets past ole Hasbani Farrell.

“I’m sorry, miss. I know of nobody who fits what you are looking for?”

Anita was saddened; “hmm, I remember hearing some rumors about a sect leader named Jack Burton. He was one of………”

A light flickered in Hasbani’s head; so…… Jack is a Blood Apache, eh. This little jezebel was like an angel for today someone in heaven was certainly returning him a favor.

He was trying to remember where he had placed his local net directory; He could find the local Ritterlich Magistrate under the federal listing; oh, yeah, Jack was going to get his comings, for all those times he made a mockery of him. And a little reward money may go into retiring from this miserable rock!

“Yeah, he is one of the more ruthless Blood Apaches, I know of.”

Hasbani nodded. “Hmm, very intriguing miss. I will be sure to let you know if I come across this man; what did you say his name was again? Jack?”

“Jack Burton.”

“OK, my dear lady. Jack Buuurton. Now what are doing for dinner……”

"There it is Teresea, you sure your up to this?" Jon Avery looked at his sister as they staked out the government installation.

"I told you that I am fine. I realize that what I did, I did under extreme duress." she didn't seem to be lying.

"Okay, let's get what we're after and get out of here." Jon looked towards their target. "I can't wait to get into that thing. It will be a nice change of pace from Little Pup. I hope Nyugen enjoys his new ride; I'm not going back"

The guards on duty didn't see the silent shapes slip by them towards the main hanger. They didn't see those same figures climb aboard the CAV and enter the cockpit. The CAV's engines fired up, and it was gone before the alarm cold be raised.

The only thing left at the scene was the insignia of a long disbanded unit consisting of a wolf staring forward silhouetted by the moon. It had been the fifth such heist in the past two years. Both CAVs and smaller vehicles had been taken. AEC command immediately placed a bounty on Thorn's head. Five Million Dollars for his capture. Ten Million Dead!!

Principal War Chief Charles Cruz turned from the vidscreen to return back to the business of shuffling papers. With the war over, the administration was faced with the burden of catching up with the minor workload. He was comforted however by War Chief Dominic Childs' recovery, though it was highly doubtful he would return to duty anytime soon.

Well, he did talk about retiring before this all started; more power to him but the situation with Reyes deeply angered both Cruz and Childs. We all trusted Reyes, came to respect him; the troops loved him, and now he deserted us. What's worse, we had no idea what the situation was, or where to begin.

With the media blackout in effect, much of the situation on Awenasa has gone unreported; mostly hold outs, still trying to cling to old glory. whatever it was that was going on, it was serious.

Cheif Cruz glanced at some intel reports that specialist Scott had given him earlier this morning.

Hmmm, I think the Coyotero pulled out of AEC space, but they left a messy situation behind them. The AEC were demanding reparations from the N'dee Free Army for the actions of the Coyotero, but the UTDF wasn't caving in to their exploitations.

Regardless, terrorist uprisings were popping up throughout their space, in particular Kiatos Prime. Nietchze von Ribbit had his hands full with these Ghost Lemurs and Frogarum sympathers, maybe even a few Cordona loyalist's acting independant of Jared Burmudez and the Coyotero Counsel.

"Deborah" Cheif Cruz called on the intercom "get me War Cheif Parker."

Incoming Report
The Awenasan Journal

A minor skirmish erupted yesterday in South Athabasca between peacekeeping forces and several factions of the Painted Horses sect. the attack occurred early in the evening when 3 sections of Painted Horses sect CAVs ambushed a convoy of Red Cross supplies going into Campa.

Within moments, the 1st Zulu Mecha Assault Troop (Lone Wolf Company) was deployed from Opex Gun Tower 48 Echo to assist the convoy. When the Painted Horses found they would have no time to loot the 7 trucks; they opted to destroy them and make them an example.

Fortunately, the Zulu force was able to engage the Painted Horses CAVs before they could completely destroy the convoy. Heavy Infantry holed up in various positions made the engagement difficult, however Zulu support elements were able to provide indirect missile fire onto these positions.

The Painted Horses destroyed 3 of the 7 trucks, but were forced to withdraw when suffering the loss of 5 of their CAVs, (2 Wraiths, a Tolucan Wight, a Dictator, and Butcher). The Zulus lost a Redhawk, a Duelist, a Dictator and both Pumas in 3rd CAV Recon. The Painted Horses decided to withdraw their infantry instead of opting to storm the Gun Tower site, which was only protected by a Panther, Vanquisher and 2 Conquerors.

The Painted Horses are a Mescelaro sect of the Blood Apaches and contemporary of the ill fated Black Mustangs who made a defiant stand against the UTDF advance into Campa in the battle for the Blue Mountains. Lone Wolf Company faced its heaviest casualty count and Cherokee Wolf - War Chief Dominic Childs was critically injured during the counterattack.

Efforts are being made to crack down on the rebels at Campa who are reported responsible for at least 4 attacks on UTDF peacekeeping forces since the end of the 2nd N’dee War. Intelligence analysts have linked the Painted Horses/Campa rebels for the attack on the UTDF War College class just last month.

What intelligence cannot confirm is the location of this world only known as Cassini, and it is said to be a strong point for the core of the alleged Blood Apache Disciple regiment “1st Cassini Guard”.

Prime Minister Juan Calderon, in the mist of his reelection campaign has signed a resolution declaring Cassini, a hostile invasion force. The UTDF and possibly CETFOR will be mobilized to neutralize this threat, but have no leads as to the location of this world.

Efforts are being made to track Battery Commander Alehendro Rosalles of the Aztec Kings, who may have already fled the Suhail System. Intelligence states he may be one of the last high level commanders still operating openly against AEC targets and a 5 million Galtek reward has been posted for his capture and interrogation.

With an invasion of Cassini, UTDF officials reason the support for the Blood Apache incursion efforts will fade and the attacks will cease. While it may be impossible to stop all Blood Apache attacks, lack of support would allow peace keeping forces to isolate the last key holdouts and force surrender.

“Hmmm, this is such a marvelous work.” Tomahawk Chief Sarah Garner of the 1st Cherokee Air Squadron, “Black Ravens”, examined the hull of the mighty space craft. She had flown all types of craft, from sleek fighter craft to the heaviest of shuttles however this one intrigued her. “Something like this is just the right capacity for Foxtrot or Tango Spear. Maybe?”

The technicians had been busy looming over possible specs and weapons configurations properly suited for combat in Awenasa. The Grunder House Hercules was a certified winner, however most tomahawk payloads were beyond its capacity. Still the bays might be spacious enough to piggyback two light CAVs like the Pumas, Talons and Raptors of the CAV Recon teams.

With 4 bays dedicated to a heavier CAV section, that would leave 2 bays for vehicles. Hmm, the bay itself could be configured for a hydraulic platform that would lower another tier of vehicles when the first two exit the drop ship. That would put 4 vehicles to a bay, however each Tango Ranger group fields 6 Tsukei and 4 Stilettos or Sabers or Nomads.

Chief Garner said to herself, “Well, the Stilettos, Nomads and Sabers are small enough to again split the bay, so they could be carried as well. It’ll be tight but with the proper load assignments, we can make it work.” One of the technicians, happen to overhear her. “Yes, ma’am, it’ll be like sardines in a can, but that’s the life of the mobile soldier, isn’t it.”

She smirked in agreement. “OK, inform the brass of my modification suggestions and bookmark it in the report. I think Tango can swing 2 of them, and maybe have one for Foxtrot’s military police unit. Those are my recommendations.”

“Yes, Ma‘am, I’ll look into it first thing this afternoon.” She returned the salute and exited the bay.

TRANSCOM: UTDF TACCOM, FT Wolf.
LOCATION: UTDF Command Center; Grand Hall
EVENT: UTDF 68th birthday celebration, 07 November 2272
SPEAKER: Prime Minister Felicia Salvadore

This fiery speech was made by the newly elected Prime Minister of Awenasa Felicia Salvadore from the nation of Boriken. Juan Calderon, the former prime minister lost in a marginal defeat against Felecia Salvadore, who herself was a Principal War Chief of the Tiano Defense Force (TDF).

Code of Honor
On behalf of United Tribes of Awenasa and the United Tribal Defense Forces, we are honored to extend its highest appreciation to the brave men and women who have answered the call to duty. We honor the dedication and commitment to country, the sacrifices and hardships you have been willing to endure.

The soldier is often an unsung hero; your commitment alone is enough to deserve the highest of honor, regardless of any heroic acts or deeds. A good soldier stands by his or her commitment, regardless of his or her own personal ideals or beliefs, to preserve the right to enjoy the freedom of his or her own expression.

The soldier stands as a testament of what it is to walk with honor, for everything, every God-given freedom, every privilege the citizen has come to enjoy, is made possible by the efforts of the soldier. A nation stands on the shoulders of its soldiers.

A good soldier is a warrior, and the warrior lives by a code of honor; and when a human being finds him or herself pointing a weapon at another human being; it is that code of honor that distinguishes the warrior from a common criminal.

This code of honor is the true source of a warrior’s power, for his or her power comes not from the weapon in their hand but rather in the content of their character, the dedication in their hearts and the commitment of self. God bless the soldier for we enjoy our freedom because of you.

Principal War Chief Charles Cruz joined the rest of his comrades in standing applause around the banquet hall. He scanned the room in admiration of the young soldiers in attendance, many of which were winners of their respective soldier of the year boards held by their units.

Lone Wolf Company colleagues were in full attendance in their military dress reds so they were indistinguishable from other UTDF troops. Although many of the higher ups, like Principal War Chief Ramsey Parker were in their military dress whites.

Prime Minister Felecia Salvadore was genuine in her appreciation; we all felt that and appreciated her insight. This was a welcome change from the former Prime Minister who seemed to improve his golf stroke during the course of the crisis. It was the political pressure from the anti-occupation movement that really brought an end to this war.

The Apachero Sect Counselor Christian Montana was left in charge of Athabasca by Grand Counselor Jose Soliz. In an effort to stop the war, the UTDF agreed to legitimize the Montana government and open a dialogue to reintegrate Athabasca with the United Tribes. The resulting cease fire has now evolved into a formal declaration of peace.

Unfortunately, Blood Apache ties are hard to break, and Montana would never give up the location of Cassini if he knew. To do so, would put Grand Counselor Jose Soliz in danger when the UTDF arrived on Cassini in force. Ambassador Seferino Candelario’s political career is most likely destroyed while Sabian Reyes along with most of the Wild Apache leadership would be court martialed and put in jail.

One could only wonder what was happening on Cassini….

UTDF TACCOM Center
7th Division SOCOM
From:Principle War Cheif Ramsey Parker

Subject:Expedition orders
To: Principle War Chief Charles Cruz

Chief Cruz, We have received a status clear on orders 78-46e;Assigned Tango 1st Ranger Group. They are to accompany the crew of the exploration vessel "Ramirez" on their UFF Commission to establish contact with this new race, the Leein. In doing so, Tango 1st Ranger Group will have a temporary PMA License should they be required to pass through RAM Coalition space.

Preliminary reports are sketchy, but the Leein seem docile enough. Tango Actual will determine possible threat assessment and/or course of action should these Leein prove hostile. We don't know for sure thier intent, or capabilities; perhaps they've just discovered they are not alone in the galaxy, who knows.

Our first priority however is to establish peaceful contact with the Leein. UFF and UTDF personel would have to be protected at all times, and we are still uncertain of Blood Apache activity outside of Terran Space.

The Ramirez has been configured to cold-dock one of the new Hercules Dropships with a full load. The Hercules bays are being customized to be incorporated to the interior hull of the Ramirez when docked. She will be ready shortly.

All Tango personel will be assigned full active pay, with hazardous duty bonus'. We are looking at a longer deployment than usual so roll over volunteers from the 2nd Ranger Group for those who may be inconvenienced by the deployment.

Contact BDAG Actual for combat support should a situation arise. Their PMA certification will be handy outside of IMO regulated space. Muster is :0500HR 21NOV71, T1RG formation area.

Foreward...

IMO Command
7th Division SOCOM
From:Principal War Cheif Charles Cruz

Subject:Expedition orders
To: Principal War Chief Ramsey Parker

War Chief Parker, I have relayed the message to the Tango HST and they will comply.

Is there anymore information you can provide us on these "Leein"? All we have at the moment is their name and speculations about who or what they are. Most of my men are uncomfortable with this and that may lead to complications during the mission.

Many of the men are still in the dark about the Mangus and I hope to avoid the public relations incident that ensued. From everything I've seen thus far, the Leein may be as docile as they sound, but this time I don't want to take any chances.
