"Take us to Chief Mhray." Cheif Espanosa then spook into his comset, "Tango Eyes, disregard airstrike protocal. condition - stand by, we're being escorted to our people now."

"Copy, Tango 1 actual, on stand by, over."

Chief Espanosa turned to his men and gave the hand signal to move out single file on a well beaten path through the jungle. The Leein villagers eyed them. After the herd incident, they were obviously weary of Terrans now; probably for the better, most races wouldn't go to these lengths to make peaceful contact.

The jungle was natural to the Tango Rangers, this was their prefered terrain to fight although the Leein were perhaps the true masters of the jungle. There was indeed much the two races could learn from each other.

Cheif Espanosa could see the makeshift huts of the capitol silhouetted against the horizon, in his mind he rehearsed every possible escape scenario should the need be required. The scouts which dropped from the Fenri had already probed the city and locked in coordinates by satelite. All that was needed was the engagement order.

"Theeeeree ssssss, iiiins thhheess toooowns haaaaallsss" The Leein Cheif pointed to a large grass hut just up the hill. Cheif Espanosa ordered two of his men to proceed up the hill, while the rest took up a perimeter.

"hopefully our people would be OK, and I can give the order to stand down, but not until we confirm their status."

As the Unknowns walked towards Mhray's hut they looked around and say happy faces turn grim when they walked towards the hut with there unknown weapons.Although most Leein like the arival of the Unknowns after the herd incident some like Cheif Ruh did not trust such Unknowns though he will keep peace

When the Unknowns walked into the hut they saw Cheif Mhray right away talking to other Leein and Unknowns who were in desent shape. The Leein did feed then and provide seltter but do to the harsh condisons of the Jungle they were not in the best shape

When the Unknowns looked at Mhray they saw a fairly large being about 7 feet and built, he had scars on his face do to many fights and short darkish hair, there seem no grim face and no fear of the unknowns weapons. He asked them to sit down and expalin there reason to be here though he was still happy to meet them

looking over the delegation, Cheif Espanosa was satisified. He motioned for one of the members for a huddle. He was no doubt riding the man for not checking in on protocal.

The delegate looked accross the table and then continued. "Chief Mhray, we recieved your gift and wondered why is it you requested us to visit."

The Rangers still maintained a defensive perimeter, however now that they confirmed the safety of the delegation, they were somewhat at ease.

Cheif Espanosa reviewed the encrypted communique in his HUD. One of the delegate members turned his attention briefly from Cheif Mhray as the Ranger Cheif tapped him lightly on the shoulders. He whispered something into the delegate's ear and turned to his men.

"Prepare to rally up, we're leaving this rock."

The Delegate turned to Cheif Mhray.
"Your hunt seems intriguing, but we will have to graciously decline. A serious matter has come, one which will require the services of our elite troops and unfortunately we have been ordered to return with them."

Cheif Espanosa signaled to the men.
"OK, we have several Fenri inbound for a pick up, you know the routine. Brass has new deployment orders for us. Rally up, hoah!"

"Whats going on, Chief?" Ruiz asked

"We may have a development with the Blood Apache situation, and if so, Top wants us to be at full ready op."

Principal War Chief Charles Cruz scanned across the barrel length of the mighty Koda Works Emperor. The catwalk was high enough to where he could reach out and touch its cold metallic surface. The bay was quiet and the hours were late.

It was unusual without the Wild Apaches on post; about this time, many Wild Apaches would sit around the bay area, drinking, smoking, socializing and playing a cutthroat game of poker or dominoes. All of this was of course illegal by UTDF standards, but Lone Wolf troops shared a certain sense of comradery that Chief Cruz encouraged among his troops.

Chief Cruz could see Specialist Deborah Scott escorting another soldier into the bay area; apparently he was new around here. He still had that UTDF rigidness about him and Cruz could see that the newcomer was appalled by the seemingly unkept condition of the bay area. Calmly, Chief Cruz climbed down from catwalk and approached them.

“At Ease!” called the newcomer who quickly took the position. Specialist Scott quickly followed, but seemed annoyed. Chief Cruz’s head jut back, his eyes turned to Specialist Scott then back to the newcomer. Nodding his head slightly, Chief Cruz motioned for the soldier to relax.

“What’s new, Deb?”

“This is Spear Specialist David Richardson. He just transferred from Alpha Battery, 3rd Division CDF and will assume command of the Cherokee Wolf.” Chief Cruz looked the man from head to toe; hopefully he could make an assessment.

“OK, Specialist Richardson, welcome aboard.” They shook hands and Chief Cruz motioned for them to follow him on a tour of the Tango Command Mecha bay area. “Have you ever commanded a Spear before?”

“Yes sir, 2nd Spear, Alpha Battery, we took up a holding position in Campa after 7th Division took the city.”

“Holding position, yeah, OK. Do you have any combat experience?”

“We had contact with a garrison of Black Mustangs in route to our position, yes.” He hesitated while the group paused in front of the Revenant docked in the next bay. “Sir, I am fully capable of leading Cherokee Wolf.”

“You wouldn’t be here, if somebody didn’t think you could.” Specialist Richardson reflected for a moment, then continued with Chief Cruz and Specialist Scott.

“Don’t step on the grid square….” Chief Cruz chuckled while Specialist Richardson looked puzzled, but continued walking.

“Good! You’re sharp on your feet, that’s good. You’ll have to learn to think unconventionally to survive here. Lone Wolf Company is an innovative security franchise, a lot different than what you were used to in the UTDF. Effective immediately, Specialist Richardson, you will be laterally promoted to Spear Chief and assume the command of Cherokee Wolf. Welcome to the family.”

Principal War Chief Cruz and Colonel Jake Mitchell entered the Foxtrot Spear rally area. It was morning and the men were adjusting their weapons straps, checking for loose odds and ends. Sometimes they were too eager.

“Are you sure about this Jake?” Chief Cruz Asked

“Yeah, between our records and Tango 1st Ranger group, it all adds up to the same end.” Col Mitchell answered. “It’s funny that the 1st Tango Rangers are conveniently away on a long range assignment.”

“Politics, man, it’s always politics. Well, let me know when the Magistrate signs the warrant.” Chief Cruz nodded his head in disbelief. “He’ll take it a little easier, if it were me serving it.”

“Its here right now.” Colonel Mitchell received the envelope from the Specialist and opened. Chief Cruz almost did not want to hear the inevitable but it was. “Ok, men, everything is a go. Principal War Chief Cruz will serve the warrant, you cover him.”

Chief Cruz hesitated briefly, but with a deep breath he climbed aboard the black SUV and motioned for the men to follow suit. It was a short drive on post; this part was always well kept with an astounding view of the beautiful South Athabascan landscape overlooking the Sinopa River.

The convoy of SUVs stopped in the driveway in front of a large ornate brick house where the UTDF flag proudly waved over the main entrance. Chief Cruz exited the vehicle and proceeded up the stone steps and rang the doorbell. An attendant opened the door.

“We were not expecting any visitors this early; can I help you, Sir?”

“Specialist, where is he?”

“He is in his chambers, preparing for the day. Is there something wrong, who are all these men?”

Principal Chief Cruz proceeded up the stairs and in the direction of the master bedroom. He had visited this place on numerous occasions, for various functions and such. Firmly he knocked on the finely polished wooden door.

“Sir….”

“Charles, isn’t a little early in the day? What can I do for you?” answered Principal War Chief Ramsey Parker while he passed the fuzz catcher over his Class A top. He was a meticulous man, one with the highest in principal, but today everything changed for 7th Division.

Sir these men are here to escort you; a court martial has been arranged on the charges of conspiracy and aiding a terrorist attack on White Plains. Here,….Here is a copy of your warrant under article 32 of the Terran Uniformed Court of Military Justice.” Chief Cruz handed a copy of the warrant to Chief Parker.
“The board has records of all your operations on Lacerta.”

He briefly gave a questioned look then smiled. “OK, I see.” He nodded his head in acceptance.” Well, at least allow a superior officer the dignity of his uniform."

Chief Ramsey Parker intentionally diverted Ghost Squad from its anti terrorist operations in Lacerta allowing the Disciples to carry out their nuclear attack. His hope was to prompt the NFA into submission and end the war, thus turning the full focus on Remi Santiago.

Other Disciple attacks included hijacking several starships and driving them jump speed into various targets, Station Namida, the NADO Cold Fleet shipyards, the Blood Bank on Cetus 4 and several AEC colonies on the fringe. All of these attacks were halted by UTDF 7th Division Ghost Squad; a group only recently, even confirmed of its existance.

“Look out! He has weapon!” Quickly Principal War Chief Ramsey Parker placed the weapon to his head and pulled the trigger……..

Halt!”
Within a few seconds, several teams of Foxtrot special weapons and tactical teams had their scopes trained on the Leein’s chest and head.

“It’s a Hiss-head, all the way out here? How the hell did he get on post? You must be really naive to think you would be skulking around the house of a Division Commander and not get caught.” The swat leader remarked.

“Place him in detention, and post a full alert for Fort Wolf. Spread the word, if there are any more Leein skulking about, surrender now, or be shot on sight.” Principal War Chief Cruz answered.

“OK, you infiltrated a government facility and you are armed. You better pray to whatever god you pray to, that you did not just start a war with the UTDF…..”

Principal War Chief Cruz nodded his head in question.
He turned to the swat commander (also nodding his head in question) and gave him the OK.

Within a few seconds, several shots rang out from various directions. There layed General Hiss in a heap of his own blood. The snipers made short work of him with a few solid shots through his thick armor.

"Somebody, pick up this mess." Chief Cruz glared at the lifeless body. "And contact the Frogs of War, let them know the situation and explain to them why Lone Wolf Company has been given a contract via our CETFOR liason to bomb these Leein back to the stone age."

"Tango Rangers, have been rerouted again sir, these time with sweep and clear orders of their capitol." Specialist Scott said on the com. "We'll contact the Snow Tigers and Brawlers, to see if they want a piece of this action."

"These Leein are gonna learn the hard way; It's not wise to provoke Terrans."

“ATTENTION TO ORDERS!”

Principal War Chief Cruz commanded over the formation assembled in front of the IMO center grounds. The flags of both the UTDF and the United Earth were displayed proudly over the main podium where the change of command was to take place. It was a calm but breezy day in Fort Wolf, the trees were painted red in their beautiful autumn display and winter was coming to the northern expanse.

“It is here at Fort Wolf on this day, the 18th of December 2271, that we are honor Colonel Kris Southerland of the Blue Diamonds Assault Group with the full distinguished honors as awarded by the United Tribal Defense Forces of Awenasa; the Silver Spear of Valor for meritorious service in a combat theater during the 2nd N’dee War.

The Blue Diamonds Assault Group under the command of Colonel Kris Southerland is responsible for much of the covert actions against the radical Blood Apaches throughout the Lacerta and the Hydra Star systems; as well as the seizure of a nuclear arsenal in Lacerta which was to be distributed by radical cells to be used in a campaign of terror against a multitude of targets throughout the galaxy.

Colonel Southerland is retiring to pursue a career as the Chief Executive Officer of Cole Manufacturing and the command of the Blue Diamonds Assault Group will be assumed by Colonel Jake Mitchell. Present the flags.”

“PRESENT ARMS!”

Upon the simultaneous order and movement of the flag bearers who carried the company arms, every Lone Wolf Company, Tribal Fury and UTDF soldier attending, responded with a crisp salute. The flag bearers approached the main podium where stood Colonel Kris Southerland, Colonel Jake Mitchell, Principal War Chief Charles Cruz, and the acting 7th Division Commander, Principal War Chief Keith Grant.

Colonel Southerland returned the salute and received the company arms, then turned to Colonel Mitchell who held his salute until Colonel Southerland presented the flag to him. Colonel Mitchell then received the flag, and returned Colonel Southerland’s salute by canting the flag slightly over his way.

“ORDER ARMS!”

With this command, War Chief Keith Grant positioned himself before Colonel Southerland, saluted then and pinned the Silver Spear on his right lapel. Colonel Southerland returned the salute then they shook hands.

“STAND AT EASE!”

With that command, the troops shifted their stance then began a thunderous round of applause to the retired Colonel Kris Southerland. Honoring an old military tradition, several uniformed UTDF soldiers presented a bouquet of yellow roses to his wife sitting in the front row beside the podium. 7th Division troops were hard to top for their sense of morale.

In an open communique today, the Frogarum urged both parties in the upcoming Leein-Terran conflict to "stop, breathe, and reconsider. Remember, this is a first-contact situation. Misunderstandings happen. The last thing the Galaxy needs is a repeat of the Rach/Terra first-contact conflagration." Thus spoke Neitchze von Ribbit of the Frogs of War, who went on to offer the Frogs of War's services as neutral third-party mediators, in hopes of finding a peaceful resolution to the situation.

"Um," replied the soldier at the Frogs of War switchboard in response to this, "You did sort of infiltrate one of their posts with a high-ranking figure, and then try to start to fight. Why don't you listen to what they want, first?"

The switchboard operator was then busted down to Private, and kicked several times by his CO. More formal negotiations are progressing.
